About Abel Chen

Born in Taiwan, Abel Chen worked in animation for four years, followed by a year in advertising art for three Taiwanese television channels. He moved to Lyon to learn the French language. Settled in France, he created the comical series 'Charles Le Chat Noir', 'Pop Corn' and 'Air Vampire' for Éditions Triskel since 1997, and was present in the magazines Les Journal de Mickey ('Coco Bleu') and Pif Gadget ('Cos et Mos', 'Super Husky'). 'Cos et Mos' was created with writer Richard Marazano and published in book format by Ed. Carabas in 2004 and 2005. He also worked with scriptwriter Bertrand Escaich on the comic series 'Des Contes de Par-ci Par-là' with for Éditions Pointe Noire in 2002. Text (c) Lambiek
