About Carlo Cossio

Carlo Cossio started his career together with his brother Vittorio at an animation studio. After having illustrated some comics for Cartoccino dei Piccoli, he earned some success in 1938 in Audace magazine with the 'Dick Fulmine' series. He drew this with scenarios by Vincenzo Baggioli until 1955. Cossio also illustrated numerous other characters, like the boxer Furio Almirante (1940, later on continued by Carlo's brother Vittorio), 'Tanks Pugno' (1945), 'Franca' (1946), and 'Buffalo Bill' (1951). Another notable series is 'Kansas City' (1947), which he made with writer Saccarello. He retired in 1955.
