About Milan Jovanovic

Milan Jovanovic studied graphic design at a school for industrial design. He became interested in comics at age 13, and published his first stories in the late 1980s. After his studies, he worked for two years in an animation studio, and did advertising assignments. He teamed up with the scenarist Dorde Milosavljevic and began the historical series 'Kalokagathia'. He also began a collaboration with the Croatian writer Darko Macan to began 'La Bête Noire', published at Novi Sad. In 2001, he co-founded the comics magazine Bager. He cooperated with writer Frank Giroud on 'Le Serpent sous la Glace' in the series 'Secrets' at Dupuis. Also for Dupuis, he teamed up with Alcante to start the mysterious detective serial 'Jason Brice' in 2008. Text (c) Lambiek
