About Edmond-François Calvo

Edmond François Calvo, known as Calvo, was a French comic strip artist and author. His most famous album is La bête est morte! and his best-known series is Moustache et Trottinette. His round, dynamic style was influenced by Walt Disney. As well as being an outstanding draughtsman, Calvo is also recognised in the world of comics as the master of the young Albert Uderzo.
