About Laurent Verron
Born in Grenoble, Laurent Verron began his career working for an advertising agency. He then moved to Brussels to work for Jean Roba, whom he assisted on 'Boule et Bill' between 1986 and 1989.
In 2003, Roba retired and it was Verron who became his successor on 'Boule et Bill'. In addition, Verron has on more experimental comics, mostly in cooperation with his friend Chric, such as a story for the 'Comix 2000' anthology by L'Association, contributions to collective books about Edith Piaf and Léo Ferré for Vents d'Ouest and the albums 'Au Fil du Zinc' (2003) and 'Tête de Gondole' (2005) in the Lombard collection Petits Délires. In 2009, Verron and Chric continued their collaboration with the science fiction series 'Fugitifs sur Terra II' for Dargaud.
