Description
Kenichi Ishige aka Kenji Takaya (1955-2016) started as an assistant for Go Nagai's Dynamic Pro (1973-74) and moved to Fujiko Studio in February 1977 to become assistant to Fujiko F. Fujio
From 1980 to 1986, he was Fujiko F. Fujio's chief assistant and had the privilege of drawing ‘Doraemon’. He also designed the giant robot ‘Zanda Cross’ and won the 2nd Fujiko Fujio Award for ‘Spacer Van’ in 1980.
His major works include; ‘3D Koshien Placon Daisaku’ in CoroCoro Comic (1982-85), Tetsujin Taro, Shin Kamen Rider Prologue, Gamera Large Monster Air Battle and lots of Doraemon ...
On this original page from 1977, though, you can still see, very clearly, Go Nagai's influence; simply look at the robot ! This lot only contains the original page, the image of the publications is for illustration purposes only
