Très jolie couverture pour l'album "Monsieur Papa", par Alain PERAL, avec qui j'ai usé quelques fonds de culottes sur les bancs de Saint Luc

About Péral

Alain Perwez (better known as Péral) is a Belgian comic book artist, animator and colorist. Born in Ath, he studied Fine Arts in Liège, and also attended classes at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in the same city. He commenced working in the field of comics as a colorist through Olivier Saive. He then settled in Luxembourg for three years, where he worked on animation projects like 'Crobs' for France 3. He returned to comics upon his return in Belgium, at first as an assistant to Daniel Kox on the series 'L'Agent 212' in Spirou. He succeeded Stéphane Colman as the artist of 'Billy the Cat' in 2002, and continued the series with Stephen Desberg and later Jean-Louis Janssens until 2007. He subsequently began an association with Éditions Bamboo, where he made the humor series about veterinarians 'Les Vétos' with François Gilson between 2009 and 2011. He also made the drawings for 'Les Fonuds du Vin de Bordeaux' in 2013. Since 2001, he has also worked extensively as an illustrator, making painted drawings for the children's book series 'Souris Mousse' by Édition Hemma, among other things. Text (c) Lambiek
