About Laurent Bidot

Laurent Bidot is a French comic book author, who is best known for the comics he made with historical topics for the publishing house Glénat. Bidot studied Graphic Arts in Paris, and began his career illustrating reprints of Vladimir Volkoff's 'Langelot' novels for Éditions du Triomphe. His first comic story, 'Padre Pio', was published by the same publishing house. Specializing in historically themed comics, he wrote and drew 'L'Histoire de la Grande Chartreuse' and 'L'histoire du Mont-Saint-Michel' for Glénat in 2001 and 2007, as well as his first series, 'Le Linceul' (2004-2006). Glénat also released his contemporary series about religion 'L'Éternel' in 2008 and 2009. By 2013 he worked with Didier Convard on the fantasy adventure serial 'Paradoxes'. He returned to history for his 2011 book 'Carnac', and for 'Gouffre de Padirac', the comic book he wrote for Lucien Rollin in 2014. Text (c) Lambiek
