Gene is of course most known for his defining work on Dracula and Daredevil, but has had his hand on many Marvel-characters during his career. Aside of three fill-ins early in the run (63–65) he returned decades later for a brief 5-issue-stint on Avengers 206–208 and 210–211 - his work on the Avengers as well as any given team-book is quite scarce, but here he shows his full abilities to lead the reader throught the action.
Here his elegant fluid style throws the Avengers into a battle. Good pacing, nice effects (have a look at Vision), striking poses, the full team featured.
The Thor-dialogue amuses me every time, it's incredible that the character is not completely ridiculous despite Stan's bad idea....
