About Nicolas Malfin

Nicolas Malfin studied physics, but eventually turned to comics. A self-taught artist, he began his career as an illustrator for roleplaying games and advertisements. He illustrated the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' card game for Halloween Concept in 1998, among other things. Since 1999, works with writer Daniel Pecqueur on the series 'Golden City', about a majestic city built on the ocean. The books are published by Delcourt. Malfin participated in the second volume of the collective project 'La Cour des Grands' for Petit à Petit in 2000. The first installment of Malfin's solo project, the historical graphic novel 'Cézembre', was published in Dupuis' Aire Libre collection in 2012. Delcourt released an artbook with samples from both his comics called 'Blue Adventures' in 2013. Text (c) Lambiek
