About Libon

Born in Paris, Ivan Terlecki (Libon) studied Fine Arts in Beauvais. He worked as an infographics artist for games for several years, before turning to comics. He published his first short stories in Psikopat, and worked with Boulet on the 'Miya' comic in Tchô!, before beginning a regular collaboration with Spirou magazine in 2004. He started his comical series about a giant lizard as a mini-booklet called 'Claudia Zila' in 2004. The feature has continued as 'Jacques, le Petit Lézard Géant' in Spirou's regular pages since then, and has been collected in books by Dupuis since 2008. Libon has also made 'Les Cavaliers de l'Apocadispe' for Spirou, as well as the vertical comic strip about an avid comics fan called 'Animal Lecteur' in cooperation with Sergio Salma. By 2006 he was also a contributor to Fluide Glacial with the comic 'Hector Kanon'. Libon has worked for the Bayard children's magazine DLire since 2006, creating the imaginative comic 'Tralaland'. He also made the short story series 'Les Enquêtes de Charlotte Holmes' with Paul Martin in 2009-2010, and wrote the gag feature 'La Bande à D Click/T.Taclack' for artist Frédéric Benaglia.
