Andromeda

The great artist engine of Psycomics died tragically earlier this year. It was a terrible shock to all of us. Vu Dahn had nearly completed work on the Medusa volume but some pages were incomplete. I was asked to help and tried to create images that would not distract from Vu Dahn’s distinct style. One of the images I created featured Andromeda. She is chained to the rocks awaiting to be devoured by the sea monster Cetus. This is one of my A3 production sketches, in pastel on brown paper. I intend to come back to Andromeda and make a painting of her at some point.
