Description
Dutch artist Evert Geradts (The Hague, 9 June 1943) made this drawing of Basta, a character from his gag strip 'Alsjemaar Bekend Band' published in 1984-1988 in comic magazine Eppo, for me at the Dutch comic Stripdagen festival in Houten, September 30th 2007.

Evert Geradts was one of the main representatives of the Dutch underground comix movement of the 1970s. He later became a productive writer and artist for mainstream comic magazines like Eppo, Sjors & Sjimmie Stripblad and Donald Duck.
