About Alex Maleev

Alex Maleev is a comic book artist of Bulgarian origins. In his home country, he has drawn for magazines like Riks ('Godan') and Riko ('Carthel of Dead') in the early 1990s. Later on, he went to work as an artist for Marvel Comics. He has cooperated with Brian Michael Bendis on 'Daredevil' and 'Spider-Woman' and has done art on 'The Crow: Dead Time' and a 'New Avengers' special. Also with Bendis, he made the four part miniseries 'Halo: Uprising' from Marvel Comics, and he workd on Todd McFarlane's 'Sam and Twitch' series. Maleev lives in Brooklyn, New York. Maleev and Bendis cooperated once again in 2010, on the creator-owned 'Scarlet' comic for Marvel's Icon imprint. Text (c) Lambiek
