Description

Rare original cover artwork for Adventure Time #61, featuring Finn the Human and Jake the Dog, the beloved heroes of one of the most influential animated series of the 21st century.

This original cover, with a blanket-fort kingdom populated by the main characters and improvised inventions, perfectly captures the imagination, humor, and sense of adventure that made Adventure Time a worldwide phenomenon.

Adventure Time originally aired on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2018 and over the course of 10 seasons (283 episodes), the series became a global success thanks to its unique blend of fantasy, comedy, adventure, and surprisingly emotional storytelling.

Set in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo, the show attracted both younger viewers and adult fans, earning numerous awards and becoming one of Cartoon Network's defining productions.

Published by BOOM! Studios, the Adventure Time comic series launched in 2012 and accompanied the television series for most of its run. Expanding the world of Ooo through new adventures and original stories, the comic became one of the most successful all-ages titles of Boom! studios and remains highly regarded by fans of the franchise.

The artwork was created by Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb, the artistic team (and couple) most closely associated with the Adventure Time comics. Together they helped define the visual identity of the franchise producing many of its most memorable covers and stories.

Featuring both Finn and Jake, drawn by Paroline and Lamb on a large cover composition, this piece represents a rare opportunity to acquire original artwork from one of the most beloved animated franchises of the 21st century.
