Description
Superbe page (page 14 sur 15) du chapitre 9 du classique de Don Rosa, « La Jeunesse de Picsou », intitulé « Le milliardaire des Landes Perdues».
La première demi-page montre Picsou et ses sœurs faisant leurs adieux à leur père avant de quitter le château de Picsou/l'Écosse, ignorant que ce sera la dernière fois qu'ils le verront vivant. La seconde demi-page les montre partant, leur père étant déjà décédé… une montée en puissance magistrale pour la page finale, pleine d'émotion.

The first halfpage shows Scrooge and his sisters saying goodbye to their father as they are getting ready to leave Castle McDuck/Scottland, not knowing that this would be the last time that they see him alive. The second halfpage shows them leaving, while their father has already passed on...great build-up for the emotional final page (one of my all-time favorite Scrooge-/Rosa-pages) of the story.

Keno Don Hugo Rosa, known simply as Don Rosa is an American comic book author and illustrator known for his stories about Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck and other Disney characters. Many of his stories are built on characters and locations created by Carl Barks, including the story that brought him to fame as a modern Disney artist – the Harvey Award-nominated comic, The Son of the Sun.
