Description
Sister-piece in my collection to the Hermann page from „Le souffle de moloch“ (https://www.2dgalleries.com/art/bernard-prince-10-le-souffle-de-moloch-pg-37-96840), both showing the outbreak of a volcano, both tackling the same subject in a different way. Thank you Regis for making me aware of these two fascinating pages!
Pre-published in the magazine "Femmes d’aujourd’hui" No. 1289 of January 14, 1970, then published as an album in July 1972 by Editions du Lombard.
The large panel was also used for the inner cover pages of the original edition.

Comment
This page is huge! I was really surprised by the sheer magnitude when I received it.
The large panel alone has the size of 39x46cm!
Beautiful large panel and very fine inking by Mr.Vance.
