100% Chapter 20 page 1 by Paul Pope

I have said just about everything I can say about Paul Pope in my other postings here. I love his art and his confidence. I think 100% is his best and most personal art and I like that it is basically a romance story...a really, really messed up one...but one all the same. Here is an incredible chapter title page. That first image is just brilliant. The perspective of looking through Daisy's eyes at a reflection of herself in the mirror is not only so well done, it is used to great effect framing how Pope wants you to feel at this point in the story. We are Daisy about to go on stage. The transformation from the girl into the dancer not so unlike the superhero transformations so commonplace in other comics. I bought this as a pair with page 2
