Arresting. I think I remember Art Spiegelman telling the story behind this illustration, maybe on Noah Van Sciver's channel? Not totally sure.

Love the contrast between the more rendered foreground figures and more loose and almost abstract backgrounds on this page, both radiate with energy but do not distract from each other. Not an easy thing to pull off, but he does! Wonderful page! Congrats!
