Description

I've had a desire for a great John Buscema Silver Surfer page for a long time. He breathed real life into Jack Kirby's timeless character (that has yet to be featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe-- an event that will surely be breathtaking and memorable). This page was created for the 1987-88 graphic novel and is the grand, final page. I think the figure work, context and dialogue say it all-- Buscema featured an elegantly rendered iconic pose and setting to bring his story to a big close -- it's an unbeatable scene for the character and I'm thrilled to have it.
