Description

Sweet large size pencil prelim page by the incomparable Gil Kane, featuring a real J.Jonah Jameson lookalike and the last panel has a silhouetted Spidey with six arms (yes, that happened!) swinging over the city with the Lizard in tow.

Morbius, the Living Vampire, is also in this issue in his first story arc! Man, they packed the Merry Marvel Madness into this one!

Kane was and remains one of the most expert and inspired draughtsmen in the history of comics. I love seeing the nuts and bolts of his workings-out on this incredible piece - the perspective, the anatomy, the backgrounds. This page is a master class in his techniques and thought processes in constructing a story. And it's 70s Spidey!!
