                    Description
Armando Huerta aka The Dark Lord of Pinup. Masterpiece of Bettie Page. Dated 2000.
Known as "Wip It", "Whip It" or "Whip Bettie" acrylic airbrush on board 20" x 30."
100% Huerta!
I was told it once belonged to TMNT comic artist Kevin Eastman.
This piece is well known and has been published numerous times.
The piece in Ricky E. Carralero's "Eye Candy" book, but not a Carralero.
Both "The Art of Ricky Carralero" by SPQ and the German "Art Premiere" by MG publishing /Art-Fantastix shows the image on page 46, however BOTH books have published the piece with Armando's signature. Hmm? That's insane in itself. So easily noticeable. Carralero painted over Armando signature with his own E for Enrique as in my scan.
Once Armando was in the states he published and claimed "Whip It" again for himself in "Better Nasty Than Sexy "The Art of Armando Huerta".
