Description
Just over a year after the real world's Cuban Missile Crisis, Caniff's Cold War epic Steve Canyon kept the topical tensions cranked with this tense sequence involving Communist Chinese agents and the Cuban-Soviet alliance. A classic Caniff page, emphasizing a hostage situation for heroic Steve Canyon and the suicidal wife of a traitor. Ink over blue pencil on individual panels of Bristol board, mounted to a backing sheet. Image area, 21.75" x 6.75". Very Good condition, with overall toning and adhesive seams.
