Description

Dynamic sketchbook page revealing the artist’s spontaneous imagination and wide thematic range. The sheet features multiple independent studies, including seven aircraft, nude male and female figures, a steam locomotive, and a shield-bearing warrior engaged in combat with a panther. The number “14” appears in the lower right corner.
Executed primarily in pencil, with selective ink accents reinforcing form and movement, the drawing conveys the characteristic energy and confident line for which Frank Frazetta is renowned, widely regarded as one of the most influential fantasy illustrators of the 20th century.
