Tatsuji Kajita (1936-2011) was a Japanese painter, illustrator and mangaka known for his contributions to both manga and illustrations. He started his artistic journey, after moving to Tokyo (1959) by copying works from notable illustrators such as Shigeru Komatsuzaki.

He worked extensively in the manga industry, particularly creating covers and illustrations for various magazines, including Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Kajita also became known for his box art for model kits, posters, and other commercial art.
