                About Ernie Chan
Ernesto Chan, better known as Ernie Chan, was a Filipino comic book artist who came to work US comic book publishers like Marvel and DC in 1970. He made his early work under the name Ernie Chua, because this was incorectly entered on his immigration documents. 
He became a US citizen in 1976. He had his breakthrough in US comics with his contributions to DC titles like 'Ghosts', 'House of Mystery' and 'The Unexpected' in 1972. Chan was working exclusively for DC in 1975-76, doing the artwork for 'Claw the Unconquered' and being the company's primary cover artist between 1975 and 1977.
Also present at Marvel since 1973-74, he inked John Buscema's 'Conan the Barbarian' and Sal Buscema's 'The Incredible Hulk. He returned to Marvel fulltime after his stint at DC, starting with inking Tom Sutton's 'Doctor Strange' and contributions to 'Kull the Destroyer' in 1977. He drew 'Power Man and Iron Fist' in the 1983, but his main occupation was drawing 'Savage Sword of Conan' and 'Conan the Barbarian' throughout the 1980s until the mid 1990s.
