Rare et superbe planche de la série "Pilgrim's progress" du maitre Winsor McCay (sous le pseudonyme de Silas). Encrage remarquable et plus que centenaire, réalisé sur une planche d'un seul tenant en bristol épais. Je suis prêt à parier un millier de dollars pour un nickel qu'elle est parfaite !

About Winsor McCay
Zenas Winsor McCay was an American cartoonist and animator. He is best known for the comic strip Little Nemo (1905–14; 1924–26) and the animated film Gertie the Dinosaur (1914). For contractual reasons, he worked under the pen name Silas on the comic strip Dream of the Rarebit Fiend.
