These early Liefeld New Mutant pages are rarely seen any more. This is 4 issues removed from the historic 87 issue which featured this new era of the New Mutants and the birth of Cable. The answer is yes, that is Cable in the last panel. He is drawn in red in that panel. Wolfsbane, Rico, and Boom Boom are also here.

About Rob Liefeld
Robert Liefeld is an American comic book creator. A prominent writer and artist in the 1990s, he is known for co-creating the character Cable with writer Louise Simonson and the character Deadpool with writer Fabian Nicieza. In the early 1990s, Liefeld gained popularity due to his work on Marvel Comics' The New Mutants and later X-Force.
