Very first Submariner page ever...told in rhyme. Rhyme are word endings in poetry that sound the same ! Hence: the correct spelling: "Rhyme of the Submariner" !
The letterer of this page pastes over the misspelling. He speaks of RIME = frost (= the thin, white layer of ice that forms when the air temperature is below the freezing point of water, especially outside at night): There was a strong rime on all vegetation.
