This is a tight cover prelim for a 35 cent cover by Kaluta from the early 70’s. The cover looks like it would have been dynamic looking. I’m not sure if it was used or not.

Michael William Kaluta est un illustrateur, peintre et dessinateur américain. La famille Kaluta, d'origine russe, s'installe en Virginie ou Mike étudie au Richmond Professional Institute (aujourd'hui Virginia Commonwealth University).
Sa carrière commence en 1969 à New York quand il rencontre Al Williamson chez DC Comics. Kaluta a travaillé sur les séries The Shadow de (DC Comics), Starstruck de (Dark Horse Comics), Sandman (Gaiman), Phantom Stranger...
