                                Víctor Arriazu y Calleja (1935-1997) fut un ami de Victor Mora, créateur entre autre avec Francisco Darnís d'El Jabato. Il travailla principalement sur cette série, en assistant de Darnís, ainsi que sur le western Jim Sullivan, et cela jusqu'en 1967, année où il s'arrêta pour raisons de santé. Il se consacra ensuite à la peinture.

                About Victor Arriazu
Víctor Arriazu y Calleja was a Spanish comic book artist, best-known as a penciller and inker for El Capitán Trueno and El Jabato. Arriazu studied Fine Arts at the Massano School in Barcelona, and began his association with Bruguera in 1958 through his friend Víctor Mora. He worked as a cover artist and inker for Francisco Darnís in aforementioned titles. Arriazu also drew the 'El Jabato' feature in El Capitán Trueno Extra from scripts by José Antonio Vidal Sales. His art further appeared in titles like Celia and Sissi. He ended his activities for comic book due to health reasons in 1968. He turned to painting, and has exhibited his work on several occasions in the decades that followed. He passed away from a ehart attack in Tenerife's Puerto de la Cruz, where he lived.
