                About Nadir Quinto
Nadir Quinto was born in Milan, and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera. He made his professional debut in 1946 in Il Corriere dei Piccoli. His work also appeared in Dinamite, Albi di Salgari, Festival and L'Intrepido. Between 1954 and 1964, he worked for the British market, doing illustration work and contributing 'Robin Hood' stories to Thriller Picture Library.
In 1965, Quinto focused on his illustration work and didn't draw any comics until the late 1970s. At that time, he began a cooperation with the publisher Editrici, for which he produced the series 'Tom Boy' and 'Swea' in Il Corrier dei Regazzi. In 1978 he started working for Paoline publishers and he started the series 'I Delfini' with his daughter Diana. This series appeared in the magazine Il Giornalino, as well as many of Quinto's comic adaptations of novels. He also drew several episodes of the 'Larry Yuma' series. With Milo Milani he created 'Jacopo del Mare' in 1984. In 1991 Nadir Quinto drew 'Vele Capitani', with a scenario by N. Danieli. He died in 1994 while working on a 'Tex Willer' story.
