L’aumônier multiconfessionnel Lawrence file vers l’ouest au volant de sa Ferrari solaire avec les deux heros a son bord. Le choix d’une marque italienne est sans doute un clin d’oeil de plus aux amants de Vérone. Point de clinquant, les ocres dominent, le coup de sang est passé par là et la poussière du désert flottant est omniprésente. L’histoire commence et se termine sur la route.

Enes Bilal, also known as Enki Bilal, is a film director, illustrator, cartoonist and comic strip scriptwriter who was born in Belgrade, in the former Yugoslavia, in 1951 and now lives in France. Part of his work is in the field of science fiction, dealing in particular with the themes of time and memory. In 1987, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Angoulême Festival.
