Another awesome piece from one of the early works by fan favorite Simone Bianchi: Ego Sum, a great blend of fantasy, sci-fi and a post modern version of costumes and traditions from the ancient feudal Japan, not by chance the principal carachter is a sort of futuristic samurai. It' s an enjoyable reading and visual experience narrated by the artist by incredible fully painted extra sized art (each original page measures 35x50 cm), vibrant and vivid acrylic colors and wild immagination. This is the original of "Ego Sum" vol.2 page 8 and makes a beautiful couple with my other piece:"Ego Sum" vol.2 page 9. It's a pity that Simone nowadays, working exclusively for the USA comic market, has speed up his style and doesn't produce anymore fully painted stories, and at same time It's a pity that the "Ego Sum" saga for the same reason is destinate to remain not completed.
