Diamond Eye | The Warrior of Light

Diamond Eye (ダイヤモンドアイ) is a superhero from the 1973 Toho series Diamond Eye: Warrior Of Light. His 'master' is magazine journalist Kotaro Rai and he is summoned via the Eye Ring by Kotaro shouting AI YO!! and holding the ring's diamond in the light !

Kawauchi scripted his first script in 1952 and actively collaborated with the film industry, firstly for Shin Toho and later for all the majors studios. In February of 1958 his most popular character 'Gekko Kamen' (Moonlight Mask) appeared on TV. Its success was instantaneous. Kawauchi also wrote the manga adaptation drawn by Jiro Kuwata, serialized in "Shonen Club" (Kodansha)
