In his prime, Frank Miller was a great storyteller. Even in the most insignificant pages, one could enjoy his storytelling ability. Like in this little onepage story: Ms Vanessa Kingpin´s dramatic fall from a finely-bred lady of culture to a tramp with amnesia.

Frank Miller is an American writer, artist, and film director best known for his dark comic book stories and graphic novels such as Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City and 300. In 2015, Miller was inducted into the Eisner Awards Comic Book Hall of Fame.
