Pencilled prelim for the cover to "The Invader of Fort Duckburg", Part 10 of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. First published in Scandinavia, first US publication Uncle Scrooge 294, Oct. 1995.
The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is of course Don Rosa´ s masterpiece. The cover for Part 10 is probably my favorite among the covers, with both The Beagle Boys and Teddy Roosevelt´ s armed forces attacking Scrooge at Fort Duckburg. Compare this tightly drawn pencilled version to the (mirrored) published cover and enjoy Rosa´ s intricate pencils!
