Commentaire
This drawing shows the Regency in all its splendor and grandiosity - and Cerebus entering with his sack of gold and without any idea of the consequences this visit would have.
The piece was originally commissioned by a fan and collector as a riff on the cover Gerhard and Dave Sim drew for the phonebook collected edition of the High Society story. Gerhard apparently adjusted a few things he wasn´ t quite satisfied with in the original cover. Waverly Press used the drawing as the wraparound cover for the luxury hardcover book edition of High Society in 2021.
