En 1990, Comics USA publie "New York -New York". Quatre auteurs y livrent leur vision de la grosse pomme. Juillard, Sienkiewicz, Tronchet... et Paul Gillon qui choisit de raconter l'histoire de "son" Batman. Il le fait comme toujours, sur des planches tres grand format avec trois cases énormes. Avec ici, outre la noirceur et la puissance de son personnage, un élément artistique supplémentaire, puisqu'il réalise un collage qui mêle fiction et réalité.

About Paul Gillon
Paul Gillon is a French comic book illustrator and scriptwriter. Very early on, he specialised in the so-called realist genre, with a predilection for historical adventure stories and science fiction. He drew for a number of newspapers including France-Soir, Vaillant, Le Journal de Mickey, Pif Gadget and Métal Hurlant. Paul Gillon won the Grand Prix de la Ville d'Angoulême in 1982.
