Description
Sergio Toppi (Milán, 1932-Milán, 2012). Plancha nº 12 (última) perteneciente al relato corto "Ammiraglio a riposo", que apareció publicado en la serie de "Il Giornalino" titulada "Storie d'oro e di frontiera", nº 22, del año 1983. Tinta china sobre cartulina de dibujo. En el margen inferior derecho aparece esta anotación a lápiz: «So che Toppi preferisce il FINE tipografico» («Sé que Toppi prefiere el "FIN" tipográfico»), seguida de una firma sin identificar. Dimensiones: 51 x 36 cm. (mancha: 37 x 27,4 cm.). Año 1983.

Sergio Toppi is a scriptwriter and cartoonist. Like Hugo Pratt or Guido Crepax, he is one of the masters of black and white of the Italian school. His drawing, both powerful and captivating, has inspired a whole generation of authors, the work of Bill Sienkiewicz being a perfect example.
