This modern page actually speaks for itself, doesn't it?
It has lots of black and shadow which doesn't hurt for a Batman page. Many details are covered with black, which makes the visible details all the more interesting, e.g. the worked out left hand, the half visible Batman symbol and of course the dramatically illuminated cape from above.
The visual supports the classic running pose…
So in summary, the page has everything that makes it very desirable for me. Therefore I thank my good friend Nicolaj for letting it go!!!

A propos de Gary Frank
Gary Frank né à Bristol (Angleterre) est un dessinateur de comics naturalisé américain. Il a beaucoup travaillé avec le scénariste Peter David sur "The Incredible Hulk" pour Marvel Comics et "Supergirl" chez DC Comics.
En 2000, il créa seul une mini-série en 6 épisodes "Kin", publiée par Top Cow. À ses débuts, il a souvent été encré par Cam Smith ("The Incredible Hulk", "Supergirl"," Gen 13"). Il est aujourd'hui connu pour son travail sur "Midnight Nation" et "Supreme Powe"r, deux séries écrites par J. Michael Straczynski.
