About Marc-Antoine Mathieu

Marc-Antoine Mathieu was born in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine), and raised in Angers. After attending art school in Angers, Mathieu co-founded the art agency Lucie Lom, which is best known for organizing exhibitions in Angoulême, Blois Paris and Bastia. He made his comic debut in 1987, when Futuropolis published his first album, 'Paris-Mâcon', which he had created with his brother Jean-Luc. During the nineties, he created several albums with the character 'Julius Corentin Acquefacques' for Delcourt, notable for their Kafkaesque style. Text (c) Lambiek
