Super Rose is seen as the first “Mahou Shoujo” superheroine manga
Mahō Shōjo (魔法少女) or Magical Girl is a subgenre centred around young girls with superpowers
Reissued by Apple Box in 1993
Kyuta Ishikawa made his debut in 1955 in Manga Shounen (Gakudousha)
He became an assistant/student of Suzuki Mitsuaki and Ushio Souji.
Suzuki Mitsuaki’s influence is clearly present in his style
In 1957 he formed "Musashino Production" and in 1966 he realised his masterpiece "Fang King" published in Weekly Shonen.
