In 1985 Arthur "Art" Adams became an overnight star with his work on Marvel's Longshot mini-series. That same year Adams drew this illustration of an attractive female superhero. Adams early work was very influential on Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld, two artist who would became major superstars in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
