With the New Year having just passed, it seemed like the perfect time to post this beautiful Winsor McCay Little Nemo in Slumberland from almost 116 years ago. Nemo and Princess Camille bid farewell to 1906 and welcome baby 1907. Purchased as two separate pieces on Bristol board, I had both pieces de-acidified to extend their life and had some surface cleaning done by a paper conservator here in Chicago; I then had them scanned together as they are now framed. They are big & beautiful - hope you enjoy!
