A propos de Ivan Reis
Ivan Reis est né Rodrigo Ivan dos Reis dans une petite ville aux alentours de São Paulo au Brésil. Il commence sa carrière à 14 ans, travaillant pour un célèbre artiste local Mauricio de Sousa. De cette collaboration naissent plusieurs récits dans la revue "Histórias Reais de Drácula" publié par Bloch Editores.
En 1995 il attire l'attention de Dark Horse Comics et apparaît dans leur anthologie "Dark Horse Presents". Jusqu'en 1999 il travaille sur le titre "Ghost" et participe aussi aux séries "Time Cop", "The Mask", "Máscara" et "Xena".
En même temps il dessine "Lady Death" pour Chaos. En 1997 il travaille aussi pour DC sous leur label Vertigo pour la série "The Invisibles". De 1998 à 2004 il travaille pour Marvel comics sur les titres "The Thing: Freakshow", "Thing & She-Hulk: The Long Night", "The Order", "Supernaturals", "Avengers Icons: Vision", "Captain Marvel", "Iron Man", "Defenders" et "Avengers".
Depuis 2004 il est sous contrat exclusif avec DC, travaillant sur "Action Comics", "Green Lantern", "Justice League of America", "Rann-Thanagar War", "The Authority", "Wildcats", "Teen Titans", "52", "Superman", "Countdown", "Infinite Crisis" et, plus récemment "Green Lantern: Blackest Night". Reis dessine aussi les couvertures de plusieurs séries pour cet éditeur.
