I've wanted a twice up early Romita Spider-Man page for a long time. You know who has most of them. I know it and he knows it. I choose this page out of nearly all the pages he has. I laid my gold down and I got my gem. The page is so achingly great on so many levels, it's hard to do this description justice. Simply, a perfectly drawn vintage Marvel page; with three large panels, two major villains, and a magnificent, nearly ½ splash Spider -Man drawing as iconic as it comes...all on a twice up page from June, 1967. It is in unusually excellent condition and has an appealing blue underline. Am I describing a very fine vintage wine or very fine vintage comic page? No matter. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

John V. Romita Sr., often credited as simply John Romita is an American comic-book artist best known for his work on Marvel Comics' The Amazing Spider-Man. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2002.
