Joey Potargent studied Graphic and Advertising Design at the PXL School in Hasselt. He works as a graphic designer during the day, and makes comics in his spare time. He took a course in comic art from Syntra Hasselt, and was awarded Comics Talent from the Limburg Area during Maasland Strip 2010. He makes a monthly comic strip for Dertien Bilzen, the city magazine of Bilzen, called 'Bieske'. He also made a contribution to the 'Bert Bibber and Piet Pienter' hommage album 'Op het spoor van Pom'. Text (c) Lambiek
