Description

Don Rosa The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck - Uncle Scrooge #293 Story Page 1 Original Art (Gladstone, 1993). Scrooge, now one of the wealthiest Argonauts in all of the Klondike, aims to settle his one and only debt with the scoundrel, Soapy Slick. And look, we've found the hidden "D.U.C.K." dedication pattern in the newspaper to the right of Goldie's image. "The Billionaire of Dismal Downs" is the ninth installment of the original 12 chapters in the series The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck and was originally published in 1993 in Denmark by Egmont, then later reprinted in the US in Uncle Scrooge #293 (Gladstone, 1995). Created in ink over graphite on two sheets of Bristol board with a combined image area of approximately 12.25" x 17.5". Staple holes, whiteout correction/clean-up, production tape, glue residue staining, and editorial notes along margins. Signed by Rosa in the lower right margin.
